Outpatient Clinics

The team run a weekly Immunodeficiency outpatient clinic at Salford Royal. This is held on a Tuesday morning and some Wednesdays in Area 2 in the Outpatient Department (OPD) in the Turnberg building. Follow up patients are reviewed in clinic every six to 12 months, or more often if required.

In preparation for the clinic, you may find reading this leaflet produced by PIDUK useful.

Clinics for allergy diagnosis, assessment and management of the above allergy conditions are held in the Outpatients Departments every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all day.

Desensitisation treatments for venom allergy and food and drug provocation challenges are held respectively on the Renal Unit on Thursday afternoons and on the Haematology Day unit all day on Fridays.

We carry out skin testing for penicillin allergy and subsequent antibiotic challenges on the Renal Unit once a month.
