Palliative and End of life care Education and Student placements

There exists an extensive formal and informal education programme accessible to all hospital, community and care home professionals across Salford.

 


All staff have access to the national end of life care e-learning resource e-ELCA. Qualified professionals can access several modules of learning. Access guidance can be found below.


The Palliative & End of Life Care Education / Facilitation Team consists of:

Student placements

The team can offer several experiences depending on your role/ level of studies. For nursing students:

  • 2nd and 3rd year students are welcome to accompany the team for a day - to arrange this call 0161 206 4609
