Sub-arachnoid Haemorrhage

MRI Scan
MRI Scan

“Sub-arachnoid haemorrhage (SAH) usually occurs without any prior warning and is therefore commonly a shock to the patient and their family. Many people have anxieties during the illness and recovery periods and lots of questions.

Medical and Nursing teams from the Wessex and Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centres have worked in collaboration to build this site as it was felt that there was a need for accurate and patient friendly information to be available to our patients and their loved ones.

The aim of this site is to explain SAH in general terms and to provide answers to some commonly asked questions”
